DMK Associates, Inc. was founded in 1982 as Englewood Surveyors, Inc. Over the years, we evolved and expanded by merging with another engineering firm that specialized in municipal services. This strategic merger led to the establishment of DMK Associates, Inc., a comprehensive engineering and land surveying firm dedicated to excellence.

In 2023, the last of DMK's founders passed the torch to a new generation as they retired. A group of dedicated employees stepped forward to acquire the company’s assets and preserve its legacy. Today, DMK Associates, Inc. proudly carries forward its esteemed tradition as the longest continually owned and operated engineering firm in Venice and Englewood, Florida—delivering outstanding service and innovative solutions to our community.
